PRP Injection Technique Process
PRPHD KIT is provided as a single-sterile blister There are 2 PRP preparation tubes. There is a Re-suspension Tube There are 2 syringes and 3 needles. There is a phlebotomy set. The blood collection needle(BCN) is affixed to the Holder. Routine phlebotomy is performed. The blood is harvested into both tubes. It is recommended to shake the tubes gently in order to mix the blood and anticoagulant. Tubes are placed into the centrifuging unit in order to maintain the balance Swing Rotor is recommended. 830G (2300-2500 RPM) 8 mins is recommended. Tubes shall not be turned upside-down.
The layers shall be seen as separated. 21G needle is placed as the tip is not touching the liquid part of the plasma Long Needle is attached to the 5ml syringe. Long Needle is placed until the Buffy Coat layer. PRP layer is collected using tornado method. 2 ml is recommended to be harvested. The same protocol is applied on the other tube. Totally 4 ml is transferred to the re-suspension tube. Gently shaking of 30 seconds – 1 minute is recommended. 21G needle is affixed to the 1ml syringe. PRP is collected from Re-suspension tube. 30G needle is affixed to the 1 ml syringe. PRP is ready for injection.
